Plaids and checks have been the staples of New England homes, cozying us up during the colder months of the year. This season the on-trend Scottish style has emerged in bright, bold colors and playful scale. It’s the right time to get creative in mixing and matching for unexpected combinations on the table.
The metallic expressions have been going wild this season. Whether it’s rose petals and cosmic magnolias frozen in gold, or the gilded glass effect lacquer placemat paired with a subtle gold stitch on the napkin, your table is guaranteed to shine through the night.
For years we’ve been admiring the elegance of this exquisite stone in stylish interiors. Printed on a lacquer, it allows us to enjoy the best of both materials – a practicality of lacquer and a beauty of marble without the need to exercise the muscles in trying to lift it up. We are happy to say that black is back in elevated form.
The trend says that Mustard is set to be the hottest color in Fall. Add the earthy aesthetic of Olive Green shades, and you can easily get transported to the al-fresco dining mood under the canopies of Tuscany.
